A. Installation Notes

Recommended Windows 95 or Windows NT System Configuration

To install the driver you will need:

* Microsoft Windows 95 operating system or later, or Windows NT operating system version
4.0 Service Pack 3 or later.
* SuperScape product.

B. SuperScape Resource & Configuration Files.

It is recommended that you make a copy of your SuperScape resource and configuration files
prior to installing any new device drivers. Failure to do so may require you to re-install
SuperScape when removing or adding new device drivers.

C. Removing Obsolete Device Drivers.

Currently the only way to remove obsolete device drivers from SuperScape is to replace the
configuration and resource files with previously saved copies or re-install SuperScape.

D. Driver Description.

The driver comprises 2 files:

Trak1_02.dll
Trak1_02.inf

They should be located in the same directory.
While installing the driver, SuperScape interrogates the .inf file. Based on the information
supplied it copies trak.dll to its home directory and updates the configuration file and resource file.
The InterTrax device is installed as device 2, the mouse is device 1.

E. Driver Installation

To install the InterTrax driver use the following guide.

1) Start your Superscape product
2) Select settings menu or the product main menu
3) Select setup from the menu
4) In devices select Add
5) Locate and select the InterTrax driver
6) Once Superscape has added the driver save the configuration and Resource files.
7) Exit Superscape
8) Restart Superscape
9) Select settings
10) Select setup from the settings menu
11) In devices select the InterTrax driver and enable it.
The InterTrax device should now be functioning.

F. Device Sensitivity.

The sensitivity of the InterTrax device may be adjusted using SuperScapes proportional control
setup menu. The InterTrax device is installed as device 2 (see section D).
Device 2 sensitivity is normally set to 0 in most Superscape designs, this should be adjusted to
give the appropriate response (usually setting 7).

G. Known Problems

Connecting joystick at the same time as the InterTrax device will cause Superscape to fail.
